"We contracted Darryl (from recommendation) to build a single storey extension to the back of our property in May 2011. The work required was to extend an existing dining room into an open plan Family Room/Dining room with an extended area to the existing kitchen to include a utility area. The extension required a cross section of trades including, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, builders, roofers and plasterers. The work was completed both within the agreed estimate and despite delays in a 3^rd party door manufacturer (subcontracted directly by ourselves) well within an acceptable timescale.
Darryl is conscientious and personable, happy to discuss any problems or requirements that occur during building and has a ‘can do’ attitude to resolving them. One of Darryl’s best assets is both his direct building team and the team of subcontracted tradespeople that he uses. Each one has the same high regard for quality and professionalism that Darryl himself shows. We would especially mention Paul (Carpenter) and Dave (Plasterer) who made such an impressive job of the complex roof requirement.
Darryl took great care to ensure that the property was kept as clean and tidy as possible during construction and managed to ensure that little disturbance was made to the rest of the house.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Darryl for any for any building or construction work and would be happy (by previously agreed appointment) to showcase our extension should anyone wish to see examples of Darryl’s work."
